The Importance of Making Conscious Choices in Business

Bio:
So, my story is a bit unusual. While I’m now a business coach for female entrepreneurs, that wasn’t always the case. As a first generation Belizean-American I was born and grew up in California. After stints in Florida and Rome, I eventually ended up in Chicago where I obtained a Master’s Degree in Opera at Northwestern University. I pursued that for a while and then later moved to New York City, followed by Madrid. I’ve called this amazing city my home for the last ten years and can honestly say that moving abroad is the best decision I’ve ever made.
I first became interested in business and marketing back in 2013 when I decided to start my own business to supplement my work as an English teacher in Spain. I learned all about SEO, social media marketing, graphic design, and more, and over the years began helping female entrepreneur friends looking for a business coach. Eventually I decided to try my hand at online business coaching and found that I absolutely loved it. Teaching, helping people, and sharing knowledge are my passions, so I feel fortunate to have a fulfilling career doing my dream job.
But to be honest, I found that as I was building my business, things began to feel off-balance and I was getting really burnt out. It was around that time I discovered Human Design and have been telling everyone about it ever since. Human Design has helped me make positive changes in my online business coaching and completely changed to the way I do things. I decided to create a holistic business with an approach that incorporates spirituality and wellness into my daily routine because that resonates much more deeply with who I am than just talking about digital marketing strategy or branding. Human Design and incorporating spirituality into my business have given me balance as a spiritual coach while carrying out my mission in my heart-centered, purpose-driven holistic business. I love talking to people and getting to know the struggles they face as well as if there is some way that I can be of assistance. I’m a big believer in giving and think it’s important to do so without expecting anything in return. That’s been the key to my success and I really think it brings out the best in all of us. What do you think?
In addition to being a business coach for female entrepreneurs, I’m also a proud dog mom, love salsa dancing, and base my company around my three personal pillars of entrepreneurship, investing and philanthropy. Please check out my 10/10/10 Giving Back Pledge if you haven’t done so already.
